Bargain Hunt beauty Christina Trevanion announced her return to social media on New Year’s Eve after suffering from a period of ‘grim days’.
The 41-year-old presenter and auctioneer took to Instagram on Saturday night – and although she didn’t divulge what the matter had been – it was her first post on the platform for a week.
In the black and white snap, Christina rocked a furry-hooded parka has she gripped onto her coffee with a pair of leather gloves.
She captioned the pic: “After a couple of grim days… I made it out of the house! (caffeine fuelled). Happy New Year’s Eve.”

Her 33,000 followers were clearly pleased to see her back, with one commenting: “Happy New Year from Adelaide. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to on our telly this year and keeping antiques hunting glamorous as you always make it.”
Another wrote: “Best wishes and health for 23. Sounds like you got shwacked by this lurgy. I hope you’re feeling better. Don’t think there has been a single day since September that one of the family hasn’t been wiping their nose or taking up residence at the walk in.
“Never known a year like it for coughs and colds.”
A third added: “Hope you’re Christmas hasn’t been too bad and a very happy new year to you and your family here’s to 2023 and seeing your beautiful smile on TV even more.”
And a fourth said: “Welcome back! Fresh air and caffeine is a heady mix, you’ll soon be right! Glad you survived the lurgy, here’s to a happy, healthy, crazy in a good way ’23.”
BBC co-star Natasha Raskin Sharp, meanwhile, looked totally different to her usual self as she sparkled in a New Year photoshoot on Instagram herself.
The presenter saw out 2022 dancing with a pal surrounded by strings of fairy lights and fellow revellers.

The 36-year old looked stunning in a long-sleeved cream floral print dress embellished with tiny pink flowers, clutching her pal’s hand tight as the pair waltzed around the dance floor.
Natasha let her brunette tresses fall in loose waves past her shoulders as she collapsed into giggles throughout the performance – with one eager follower branding her hairstyle “perfect”.
Taking to the comments section, one fan begged: “You should do Strictly, I would love to watch you on that!” while another gushed: “Hair is perfect there Natasha!”
