Michelle Visage gives cheeky response as she's quizzed on Masked Singer's Jellyfish

RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage smirked when asked whether she was involved in the latest series of The Masked Singer.

Speaking on The One Show, Michelle simply smiled when host Alex Jones asked her directly if she was jellyfish.

Michelle then shrugged at Alex and her co-host Jermaine Jenas and replied thoughtfully to the question.

“There are always rumours and that’s the fun about shows like The Masked Singer,” she said.

Without shutting down the rumours, she then teased: “If I told you, I’d ruin it.”

Michelle had been rumoured to be Jellyfish in the bizzare ITV singing competition where judges Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross must guess who the masked singers are.

Fans immediately started guessing that Michelle could be Jellyfish after a clue calling the unmasked star an LGBTQ+ icon saw viewers point to the Drag Race star.

One viewer on Twitter said: “This is a tough one trying to guess who Jellyfish might be I’m thinking either Christina Aguilera or Michelle Visage? #MaskedSingerUK.”

Another was sure it could be the 54-year-old in the pink get-up, tweeting: “Jellyfish is 1000% michelle visage #themaskedsinger,” to which someone replied saying: “Absolutely. As soon as she started to sing the obvious became more obvious.”

“Maybe I’m being a bit too obvious with jellyfish, but could it be Michelle Visage ? the clues gave me no inspiration really but the voice sounds a bit like her #maskedsingeruk,” a fourth suggested.

Jellyfish took to the stage in the last episode of The Masked Singer and wowed the judging panel with their rendition of Sweet Child O Mine.

So far, Michelle joins a long list of potential celebrities behind the Jellyfish mask, including former TOWIE star Megan McKenna and Scottish singer, Michelle McManus.
