She recently spent her summer months with none other than comedian Alan Carr as they joined forces for a new TV show filmed in the heart of Sicily.

While filming their show, the pair had an unfortunate run in with the law after they were pulled over by the police which left her co-host Jamie Theakston, 52, speechless on the show.
Alan teased: “No-one’s really talked about you getting arrested” as Jamie shrieked: “What?!”
Amanda coyly admitted: “Oh yeah, there’s a police incident, but you have to watch that” as Jamie struggled to believe what he was hearing.
The comic continued: “No, I’m saying we should mention it, they say ”oh hold it back’’ because it is so funny.”
Amanda added: “Well, yeah. It’s so funny, we were pulled over by the police” as Jamie screamed dumbfounded: “You didn’t tell me you’d been arrested?!”
It was at this point that the Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted: “They [the police] were pretty mean until we turned on the charm” as Alan concurred: “Oh we turned on the charm! She turned into Mae West! ‘Hey that’s a lovely buckle on your trousers’.”
The mum-of-two joked: “’I say, I love your belt buckle’” before the trio burst into laughter on the air.

It is understood The Italian Job joins Amanda and Alan’s love of interior design and DIY after they took on a brand-new property determined to fix it up from the ground up.
And the loveable duo made sure to get their hands dirty as they took on challenges such as plumbing, painting and plastering.
For the show, Amanda found two flats in the heart of a little medieval town of Salemi just one hour outside of Sicily’s capital, Palermo, which they bought for just €2 with a plan to make them one larger property.
