Carol’s Instagram fans gushed over her in the comments, with one branding the presenter: “The hottest woman on the planet”.

As they sat on the sofa, the four stars began discussing the idea of ‘middle-aged’ Love Island and suggested the maths whizz should apply for the potential series.

Alison, 47, asked: “Would Carol go on middle-aged Love Island?,” to which she responded: “Well, the only thing is, I’m not looking for love am I?”

The Big Brother star joked: “Vorders could go on saying she’s not be looking for love and she’d end up finding love!”

Dermot chimed in: “If Carol was on, none of the men would ever couple up.”

Giles, 74, added: “The problem is, when we went to the audition together… oh no that was for naked attraction.

“I imagine they would have to do an OAP one for me, we would never reach the alarm clock in the morning, viewers would think they were reaching out for another contestant but actually we just can’t reach the alarm clock.”

‘What about when they get a text and they can’t see it?’ Dermot laughed as Giles responded: “They would be phoning the grandchildren to ask then what the emoji’s mean!”

The topic came up after former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall appeared on Steven Bartlett’s podcast and admitted she’s been “begging” ITV to let her host a middle-aged version of the hit dating show.
