Brooklyn Beckham has been slammed by fans after he posted a “tone-deaf” food tutorial using expensive ingredients as families struggle to put food on the table amid the cost of living crisis.
Brooklyn splashed out well over £300 for the “Michelin-style” Sunday roast, which included a cut of 28-day dry aged sirloin, porcini mushrooms and guidance from former Michelin cook Kevin Lee.
After he cooked the meal, Brooklyn took a bite of the steak, claiming it was “just like we have it in England.”

A follower hit back, reminding Brooklyn of the struggles British families are facing amid the cost of living crisis.
“Such a waste, while others are starving to death. Where it’s the dislike button?” they typed.
“What pains me the most is that probably cost more than most British families can afford to spend on food in a week,” a second shared.
A third barked: “Heart attack on a plate. Totally unnecessary amount of it. Most peoples budgets do not include ‘aged’ any kind of meat.”
Fans didn’t only fume over the expensive products, but also Brooklyn’s fascination with the cut of meat as he presented it raw at the start of the video.
“Always creeps me out when humans literally get turned on by a chunk of cooked dead animal. So weird,” one commented.
Others had their own critiques over Brooklyn’s ‘just like England’s’ roast.
“Might as well bite the cow while it’s grazing,” one sarcastically suggested.
A second critiqued: “That’s just a reckless amount of butter for that much meat.”
“Those were not proper Yorkshire puddings,” a third typed with an annoyed face emoji.
Some fans came to his rescue, slamming those who had something negative to say.
“Stop with the negative comments. If it’s not your taste, keep scrolling. Jesus!” one shared.
“Stop hating. This looks yummy and obvs u’re not consuming ALL of the butter so shut up geeez,” a second said in support.
Brooklyn has recently come under fire for his basic cooking videos, where he whips up a meal after following a basic recipe, like burgers or sandwiches, for his 14.7million followers.
