The Masked Singer UK fans believe they’ve rumbled who is hiding behind the Jacket Potato mask on the famous ITV programme.
A series of clues were unveiled ahead of the character’s performance but it appears the voice of the celebrity has accidentally revealed the famous star.
While teasing their identity, Jacket Potato said: “It’s me, Jack… Jacket Potato, I’m one hot potato and I’m here to drop it.

“Like, er, it’s a hot potato,” before Davina McCall questioned whether it was a celebrity in their 40s or 50s.

“Like all good spuds, I’m smooth, creamy and occasionally baked,” said Jacket before going on to say: “Can I say that? It’s a good thing because what I do, it’s like America and man do I need that energy.
“Stick with me and I promise this potato will lead you all the way to who I am.”
Following their performance of Elvis Presley’s Viva Las Vegas, fans flocked to social media to share their views with many believing that EastEnders star Shane Richie could be reprising his singing career.
Shane famously released three albums between 1997 and 2017 with his most famous hit being a cover of I’m Your Man back in 2003.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Tonight’s is too easy. Jacket potato is Shane Richie and Fawn is former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Kenneth Clarke. Simple. #MaskedSingerUK.”
“So far, I think jacket potato could be Matt Lucas or Shane Richie #MaskedSinger,” penned a second.
Before a third went on to say: “Bet anyone £1 it’s Shane Richie on @MaskedSingerUK #maskedsinger #MaskedSingerUK.”
“A quick google tells me Shane Ritchie collects vintage toys and has a shrine to Planet of the Apes (!) in his house #MaskedSingerUK,” commented another.
A fifth tweeted: “I knew that voice sounded familiar and when Wossy mentioned Shane Ritchie I think it might be him #MaskedSingerUK.”
Judge Jonathan Ross recently explained he failed to spot one of his pals on the programme, admitting he had no idea his celeb pal was performing.
Earlier this week, host Joel Dommett teased that a “huge celeb” would be appearing on the programme as he explained that this year has “the best cast yet”.
During his chat on The One Show with presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp, Joel confirmed that the cast is the “most relevant” with the reveals set to shock audiences.
Alex and Roman shared their shock at Joel’s revelation, causing Joel to share even more information about the show’s cast.
“Yeah, some really relevant people with a sprinkling of legend,” he teased while cracking a cheeky grin.
Joel then went on to share that the upcoming episode of the show will unmask someone “very famous.”
“Next week’s episode on Saturday, it’s someone VERY famous behind the mask,” he added on Thursday.
