Former Ben Mitchell star Harry Reid looks unrecognisable and has confessed that he “still loves” his EastEnders co-star.
Harry, 30, who is best-known for portraying Phil Mitchell’s son Ben from 2014 until 2018, took to Twitter earlier this week to gush over his former on-screen love interest.
In the BBC One soap opera, Harry’s character struck up a sexual relationship with Paul Coker (Jonny Labey), which soon progressed into true love before an abrupt end.

Sharing a throwback video of the two characters in the soap, one fan took to Twitter over the weekend.
They penned: “After a heavily anxiety-laden week, I’m soothing my mind and soul with some #Eastenders (relative) nostalgia and delving through YouTube to rewatch the Ben and Paul love story with @HarryReid16 and @jonnylabey.”
Tagging the actors in the post, Harry saw the tweet and couldn’t help but respond.
Quote retweeting the post, Harry penned: “And f**k do I still love him,” tagging Jonny Labey and posting a red heart emoji.
Fans were quick to comment on the tweet, with many swooning over the former couple.
“I’ve never forgiven Eastenders for killing off Paul, there was still so much potential for Ben and Paul. I won’t say what I think about the current situation,” wrote one.
While another person penned: “You two were magical together.”
“Very sexy couple. Missing those shirtless scenes of you two on TV,” cheekily penned a third.
While a fourth said: “Man I cried when Paul went, not gonna lie. I miss seeing you guys!”
And not only has Harry gushed over his former on-screen lover, but he looks very different from his soap stint also.
Ditching the glasses and smoking a cigar in his Twitter profile photo, Harry looks almost unrecognisable.
He also looks rather different in a topless snap where he can be seen showing off his abs.
After the characters got together in the soap – after a secretive on-and-off relationship – Paul’s grandparents, Pam and Les – who ran the undertakers – decided to leave Walford, meaning Ben and Paul would become the new managers of Coker and Sons.
In celebration, they spent a night out together, and were sadly not seen again the next day.
Ben’s family were then alerted by the police that a dead young man whom they believe to be Ben has been found, having been involved in a fight.
But upon inspection, the victim is revealed to be Paul, leaving Pam, Les and of course Ben – once he was found – completely devastated.
Ben and Paul were cornered by four large men and chased after coming out of a night club, in a targeted attack due to their sexuality.
