Tipping Point fans in stitches after ITV contestant gets ‘obvious’ question wrong

Tipping Point viewers were left crying with laughter after one contestant got a seemingly “obvious” question very wrong.

Ben Shephard headed up the popular ITV show on Thursday night (January 12) and welcomed Lisa, Hugh and El to their podiums as they put their general knowledge to the test.

The afternoon gameshow sees contestants battle it out to win a £10k jackpot by answering brain-scratching questions for counters to put into the 2p arcade-style machine.

The question that Ben asked was: “Chevron, imperial and pencil are all styles of what type of facial hair located about the top lip?” to which she immediately answered: “eyebrow”.

The studio soon erupted into laughter as the guest joked: “I didn’t want to say moustache” as she struggled to regain her composure on the show.

After giggling at the hilarious response, the Good Morning Britain presenter warned: “Well, you should have!

He continued: “Lisa, as much as I’d love to, I can’t accept eyebrow” before he reminded viewers at home: “It was moustache, of course.”

Ben was quick to correct the guest as he chuckled at her mistake

It was at this point that fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on hilarious comment as one user penned: “Facial feature located above the top lip, THE F***ING EYEBROWS!?!? #TippingPoint.”

Another chuckled: “Eyebrow above the top lip [cry laughing emoji] #TippingPoint” while a third chuckled: “The eyebrow, everyone [eye rolling emoji] #TippingPoint.£

Meanwhile another questioned: “The eyebrow is facial hair located directly above the top lip? #tippingpoint”.
