According to People, he told the crowd they welcomed the “little baby this morning”, before adding: “What a blessed day.”
He reportedly told fans that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep”, but was feeling energised after spending a chunk of the night at the hospital.
Although neither John or Chrissy have shared the news on their social media, Chrissy shared a photo of her two children posing together on the same day.
The post prompted fans to immediately share their messages of congrats after hearing John’s announcement.
As her fans flocked to the snap, one user wrote: “Just heard the news! Congratulations!!! Enjoy every second.”
While another said: “Congratulations on your newest lil one!!”
A third added: “So adorable! Congratulations on your newest addition. Can’t wait for pictures!”
Chrissy announced she was pregnant again over the summer, two years after the pair opened up about their heartbreaking passing of their son Jack at 20 weeks pregnant.
She explained that she was nervous to announce that the pair were expecting another child, with Chrissy saying at the time: “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
Chrissy revealed last year that her late son Jack’s passing in September 2020 was due to a life-saving abortion.
She explained in a post that it was an “abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance,” adding that she hadn’t put that together “until a few months ago”.
They explained at the time that Jack died due to complications caused by a partial placental abruption, which is when the placenta detaches from the womb and deprives the baby of oxygen while causing heavy bleeding in the mother.
Chrissy was inundated with support after she told her fans of her heartbreak.
The star has since shared regular updates following the news of the pair welcoming another baby into their family, and her followers have been thrilled for the A-list duo.
