Harry and Meghan could see Hollywood turn its back as 'A-listers can't trust them'

Harry and Meghan have caused a “distance” between themselves and their Hollywood A-lister pals, according to one expert.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, PR expert and CEO of 10 Yetis Andy Barr opened up on his thoughts about the couple and their future stateside.

Barr thinks that their celeb pals may have turned their back on them as they have grown cautious due to the couple’s previous actions.

He said: “The penny has just dropped for the Hollywood elite – if Harry and Meghan would do this to their own actual family, what could and would they potentially reveal about their A-Lister pals?”

Harry and Meghan have been in the spotlight recently

“This realisation means you can see the distance between the pair and the ‘Hollywood Royalty’ now beginning to grow.”

Recently, many have speculated that Hollywood A-listers such as Oprah Winfrey and George and Amal Clooney have distanced themselves from the former royals.

Andy also noted that the public drama surrounding Harry and Meghan – namely Harry’s book Spare, their Netflix series and his recent interview – may be cause for concern amongst some of their celebrity friends.

Their Hollywood pals may be distancing themselves

He added: “They were welcomed into American high society and influence with open arms, but it very much appears that, like any over-egged commercial campaign, people are suffering from Harry and Meghan fatigue and starting to move away from them.

“Ironically, it looks like Harry’s recent solo interviews have resonated better here in the UK and are being seen as a form of closure or therapy by the public.”

Andy also gave some suggestions on what Harry and Meghan should do next, given the outcry after their recent media spotlight.

“They will have hired some of the best advisors in the world to guide them through this transition and as any good PR person would tell you, it is important that you realise when to leave the room with people wanting more.

“If I was advising, I would suggest that maybe now is time for them to take their foot off the gas for a while and remain under the radar so that people will be excited to hear from them again the next time they have a commercial opportunity they want to promote.”
