Rita Simons has said she feels like she can hold her head “up high” after undergoing a secret facelift.
The former EastEnder had a ‘Cinderella lift’ six weeks ago and has now shown off the stunning results in a series of snaps.
The 45-year-old feels so confident about her new look that she’s even had her hair cut into a bob that will highlight her jawline.

Rita said she felt great about the procedure, telling OK! magazine: “I’m going public with it because it’s helped my confidence so much.
“I wasn’t ready to age and my jowls highlighted my scar even more. But I’ve done this for myself, it was purely personal.”
The actress, who is mum to 16-year-old twins Jaimee and Maiya, confessed that she had avoided looking at her face for a long time and that just wanted to feel like herself again.
She told the magazine that she wouldn’t have dreamed of chopping off her hair before but that feeling so good about her jawline had been “freeing” for her.
“Cutting my hair is really symbolic – it means I’ve got nothing to hide,” said the star.
Rita, who is best known for playing Albert Square’s Roxy Mitchell, said that when she had her facelift she was clear that she didn’t want to look overdone and wanted a natural look.
She just wanted to “turn back a little bit of time”, she explained.
The procedure she had was minimally invasive and was all done in under an hour.
Results last around two years but Rita said when the time comes she would have it again “in a heartbeat”.
