Love Island 2023 star Olivia Hawkins has only just set foot in the villa for the winter series, but it’s clear she’s already making an impact.
The winter edition of the ITV dating show kicked off in South Africa on Monday night (January 16) with a lavish new villa and a fresh batch of sexy singletons looking for love.
The first episode saw new host Maya Jama make her debut and oversee the first coupling ceremony of the series – as well as make a candid admission about her dating history.

But it was 27-year-old ring girl Olivia Hawkins who seemed to grab everybody’s attention as the islanders were getting paired up – and many fans thought the Brighton beauty resembled 2019 islander Maura Higgins.
Irish beauty Maura became a fan-favourite during her time on the show for her brutally honest takes, cheeky personality and hilariously racy quotes.
Olivia was sporting chiseled facial features and long flowing raven locks that she tied back – just like Maura when she was in the villa.
One fan wrote: “Olivia is giving me @MauraHiggins vibes.”
Another agreed: “i think olivia is gonna be the maura of this season.”
A third commented: “Olivia is giving Maura vibes. And i feel like she’ll be that girl that everyone hates at first and then loves.”
Many fans were distracted by Olivia’s choice of outfit as she was sporting a neon pink bikini with denim shorts that were left unbuttoned at the waist.
The unbuttoned style left some fans confused, with one joking it “looks like she’s just finished her Christmas dinner with her shorts like that”.
A second said: “Olivia seems to have forgotten how to button her shorts”
A third asked: “The shorts?” while another told her: “Button your shorts.”
A fifth noted: “It’s actually mad I’ve never seen anyone wear shorts on Love Island.”
Olivia originally chose to couple up with Kai Fagan, but he was stolen by Tanyel Revan, meaning she ended up with farmer Will Young.

It culminated in a rather awkward-looking hug that left fans cringing online.
And it seems like Will’s work is cut out for him as Olivia told her castmates she didn’t feel any romance between her and the TikTok star.
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2
