Rebekah Elmaloglou first arrived on our screens as Home and Away’s troublesome teen Sophie Simpson in 1990 – and the star looks unrecognisable more than 33 years since her soap debut.
The actress appeared on the soap between 1990 and 1993, with her character Sophie later becoming involved with David Croft in 1991 – played by none other than Hollywood hunk and Neighbours Mike Young star Guy Pearce.
The on-screen couple had a romantic fling, which later led to Sophie becoming pregnant, but David died in a car crash before he got a chance to see his daughter Tamara being born.

Two years later in 1993, Sophie subsequently chose to say goodbye to Summer Bay and move to Perth with David’s mother to raise Tamara – but later made a return for stints between 2002 to 2005.
Over 30 years since leaving Summer Bay, Rebekah looks completely unrecognisable from her Home and Away days.
Rocking a number of stylish looks and looking radiant, Rebekah has delighted fans off screen as well as on it, with appearances in A Country Practice and Pacific Drive, to name a few.
The brunette bombshell does not appear to have aged a day, as she has since flaunted her ageless appearance in another famous TV role as Terese Willis in Neighbours.
Rebekah played Lassiters Hotel Manager Terese from 2013, with her character developing an on-off relationship with soap villain Paul Robinson that played out right until what was thought to be the soap’s final episode in 2022.
Ahead of the emotional episode, which saw a number of former cast members including Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan return to Ramsay Street, Rebekah revealed to Inside Soap that Home And Away star Ray Meagher had reached out to her in a sweet gesture from her former cast friends.
She said: “Ray Meagher called me to see how I was. I hadn’t seen him in years but he got my number from my brother who is a crew member on Home and Away.
“He told me how sorry he was and sent his love to everyone on Neighbours and said the gang at Home and Away wanted to show support and were thinking of us. I think they were quite shocked by the news as well.”
However, with the news that production company Fremantle has signed a deal to air the soap on Amazon Freevee, Neighbours is set to make a comeback this year – so could Terese?
With Paul Robinson star Stefan Dennis appearing in the announcement video for the return of Neighbours, it seems that Terese and Paul’s story may be far from over – and we cannot wait to see what happens next.
