Rita Ora has shut down claims she’s in a “throuple” with her husband Taika Waititi and Hollywood actress Tessa Thompson.
The Masked Singer judge and hubby Taika, 47 – who directed Marvel’s Thor – sent the internet into a meltdown after they were snapped getting cosy with Tessa, 39, during a heavy drinking session.
According to some eagle-eyed fans, the darting trio looked overly close as many assumed the A-List stars were in a “throuple”, similarly seen with boxer David Haye, Una Healy and Sian Osbourne.

Rita, 32, told GQ magazine: “Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve had a lot of drinks, and everyone’s your best friend?
“And then the next day, you’re like, ‘I was talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours, and I’ve got no idea who they are?’
“Literally – that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time. They [Taika and Tessa] had a crazy schedule, and everyone was letting loose.”
When asked about the rumours at the time, husband Taika told Sydney Morning Herald: “I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick.

“And also, ‘is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”
Rita and Taika reportedly tied the knot last summer, with the couple said to have exchanged vows in an intimate and “special” ceremony held in London.
The pair are understood to have been in a relationship since 2020, with rumours of them getting engaged starting to circulate last year.

Rita recently spoke about getting hitched in an interview with Louis Theroux.
Staying hush about whether she’d actually tied the knot, she teased: “Getting engaged has definitely been a conversation. I’m happy”.
Before adding: “Getting married is something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid, and he definitely is a great human. He’s awesome.”
