Love Island legend says Will 'won't find love' as he enjoys first kiss with Jessie

Former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has taken a not-so-subtle swipe at 2023 Islander Will Young claiming he “won’t find love.”

The 26-year-old shot to fame in 2019 when he came in fourth place on the fifth series alongside his ex girlfriend Maura Higgins.

Now, Curtis has issued a warning to current Islander Will, claiming that he could be friend-zoned during his time in the villa.

Since arriving at the South African villa last week, farmer Will hasn’t exactly had it easy trying to find love.

The TikToker has been pied off by several female islanders as they instead attempted to get it on with others like Tom Clare and Ron Hall.

And it seems that ex-Islander and Hollyoaks star Curtis isn’t hopeful that Will, who has more than 1million TikTok followers, will find love on the show.

Speaking to Closer Magazine, Curtis said: “The biggest love lesson I learned on the show was don’t rush into anything, take your time and enjoy the process.

“I’m really enjoying this series. Will seems like the loveliest guy, the funniest guy, but I think he’s going to end up being the ‘friendship’ man.”

He added: “I don’t think he’s going to find anyone just yet!”

Curtis’ thoughts on Will came just hours before he enjoyed a kiss with bombshell Jessie.

When Aussie bombshell Jessie turned up at the villa last weekend, Will instantly struck up a surprising romance with her.

In Tuesday’s episode (January 24) the two shared several snogs during a space-themed challenge.

By the end of the day, Jessie appeared to have fallen for Will, and the two shared another kiss during a cosy chat next to the fire pit.

The 2023 islanders all spotted the moment and cheered to the potential new couple on – along with viewers at home.

“I ACTUALLY ADORE WILL SEEING HIM HAPPY MAKES ME HAPPY,” gushed one fan on Twitter.

Echoing their thoughts, someone else added: “Go on Will!! Get in!! So happy for him.”

“Omg Jessie stop you’re going to have him buzzing again,” penned a third viewer.
