US reality series 60 Days In has seen members of the public go undercover in prisons across the country – but do you know where some of the participants are now?
The programme, which has aired on A&E Network in America and is available on Netflix and ITVX in the UK, has followed the participants as they attempted to uncover evidence of illegal activities within the prisons.
While many have kept a low profile since leaving the series, a few have remained in the public eye and spoken about the impact that the show has had on their life.

Here, Daily Star takes a closer look at where some of the 60 Days In participants are now.
Zac Baker
Army veteran Zac Baker became one of the stand out stars of 60 Days In series one, after he successfully uncovered a drug smuggling ring within the prison.
He has since revealed to People Magazine that he has had offers of employment from law enforcement agencies following his stint on 60 Days In, saying: “I’ve had police departments reach out to me for employment. I think it has been a really positive experience.”
Zac regularly shares snaps of him and his family on Instagram, along with photographs of his workouts, with his social media bio stating that he is also available to book for Cameo videos.
He is not the only member of his family to have appeared on 60 Days In however, as his wife Ashleigh was also a participant in series two.
Ashleigh entered the series to help women struggling with addiction, but during her time on the series, she could be heard arguing with husband Zac on the phone.
The couple, who have two sons called Gavin and Ryker, are still together and Daily Express reported that Ashleigh addressed the way their arguments were portrayed on the series in an Instagram post.
She wrote: “Unfortunately, this season of the show was extremely edited toward dramatic effect. What looked like one phone call per episode was really MAYBE two phone calls chopped and edited so many times, it’s sad.”
Like her husband Zac, Ashleigh also posts about health and fitness on social media.
Maryum Ali
Social worker Maryum Ali took part in series one of 60 Days In, after previously helping the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development.
However, she was already in the public eye before appearing on 60 Days In, as her father was boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
Maryum regularly talks about her famous father, and recently spoke at an event about his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 42 years old.
Saying that her father was “kind of lost,” following his diagnosis, she said: “A lot wasn’t known about Parkinson’s back then, as it is now. We have great research now. People know what it is. Great therapies.
“But back then he was kind of lost and was told he had Parkinson’s syndrome and then it wouldn’t progress… but it did.”
Maryum has also been a spokesperson for The Parkinson Alliance for 20 years, raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease and the importance of research.
Since appearing on 60 Days In, Maryum returned to working with the community, and has published the book I Shook Up The World: The Incredible Life Of Muhammad Ali.
She also works as a public speaker for social and human service organisations.
Nate Burrell
Nate Burrell took part in series three of 60 Days In, and became the first participant to be asked if he would like to stay in the programme.
The former duty marine had previously received an associate’s degree in criminal justice and law enforcement, with show website A&E stating on his profile that Nate wanted to enter the 60 Days In programme to “understand the people that he will be putting away and possibly find a way to connect with his brother and the community.”
However, People Magazine also reported in 2020 that Nate was facing five felony charges, according to Michigan court records, including criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
On October 31, 2020, Nate died by suicide at the age of 33 years old, with his sister confirming his death in a statement to TMZ.
The statement read: “Nathan loved his country, loved his family and was a very caring guy.
“He was just in a bad place. He was very proud of being on 60 Days In, and he really cherished his time on that show.”
Deadline stated that Nate was working as a Fish and Wildlife Officer in Michigan, and that he was married and expecting a child.
Mark Din
Corrections Officer and 60 Days In superfan entered series five of the programme, where many considered him as the “underdog.”
He was housed in a pod alongside police officer and fellow participant David, with participant Abner housed in another pod.
After reporting on prison operations as part of the programme, Mark left the series and launched his own podcast called Awkward Fish Bump Productions – in reference to the awkward fist bump moments he encountered during 60 Days In.
On the podcast he discusses fan reactions to episodes of 60 Days In, as well as police related news.
He also keeps followers up to date with his family life and personal life on his Instagram account, where he shares sweet snaps with his wife and children, as well as photos of him playing chess.
His Instagram bio lists him as: “60 Days In A&E season 5 underdog, avid chess player. Follow me on YouTube or my Podcast Awkward Fist Bump Productions.”
Vivian
Navy and Army veteran Vivian entered the women’s pod during series five of 60 Days In, alongside participants including Brooke and Jazmyn.
Tasked with observing prison operations, she has remained in the public eye since leaving the series, and regularly shares sweet snaps of herself with her family on Instagram and Twitter, but tends to keep their personal life private.
Vivian has also sharing a number of glamorous snaps including a short video of her dancing in a flower print mini dress on her Twitter page, as well as a series of sexy snaps on her Instagram grid.
Her official Twitter account also lists her as having an OnlyFans page, which she regularly promotes on the social media site.
Angele Cooper
Electrician Angele Cooper became a fan favourite on series four of 60 Days In, and quickly integrated into the prison system where she built bonds with a number of inmates.
She also grew close to another inmate called Gabrielle, but their time together was cut short when Angele was removed from the prison when it was implied that she had let slip about her involvement with 60 Days In.
Since leaving the series, Angele has kept her personal life private.
However, The Austin Chronicle reported that Angele has launched a film production company called Alpha Female Films, and works on her own short films as a writer and director.
According to the official website for Alpha Female Films, Angele has written and directed the short film Love In The Shadows, which has received numerous film festival nominations.
It also states that she is working on her first feature film Dangerous Fate, saying: “Angele’s experiences have driven her to write stories that give a voice to the voiceless, represent the misrepresented, and bring visibility to the invisible.”
