Britney Spears has confirmed that she is “alive and well” while shutting down fan-spread conspiracy theories after her welfare was checked on by police.
The 41-year-old Toxic singer hit the headlines last week when reports swirled that said the police had attended the singer’s home following an Instagram name-change and the deletion of her account.
Britney later confirmed that police did attend her home after “prank calls” from concerned fans sparked a welfare check, but added that there was “no issue” and the police “left immediately”.

And now Britney has spoken out again, but this time talking about her “hurt feelings”.
Taking to Twitter on January 29, the blonde beauty spoke out in a series of tweets where she spoke of being “alive” and being forced to “shut down” her Instagram page.
One of the many tweets saw her pen: “I shut down my Instagram because there were too many people saying I looked like an idiot dancing and that I looked crazy.
“Honestly I was doing my best but it disturbed me to see people freely talk about it on TV … yep it hurt my feelings.”
She then spoke of the police arriving at her home when she said: “I’m shocked as hell that when I took my Instagram down fans got worried and sent the cops to my house.
“It really was uncalled for,” she urged.
Britney then said that she “adores” her fans, adding: “but for those who did that aren’t real fans and I honestly felt like it was a way to make me look bad.”
This comes after Britney confirmed reports that 911 were called to her home after fans reached out to the police, were true.
Taking to social media on January 26, she wrote: “As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls.
“I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.
“The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realised there was no issue and left immediately.”
She then spoke of feeling as though she was being “gaslit and bullied”, while being “portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light”.
