Michelle Heaton issues message as pals say she was 'robbed' after 'harsh' scores

Dancing on Ice fans shared their fury after Michelle Heaton was judged “harshly” by the professionals.

Host Holly Willoughby even commended Michelle for her vast improvements compared to the week prior, but sadly it wasn’t enough to see her sail through for another week.

With no skate off, Michelle was immediately voted out, leaving fans furious as many claimed she was judged very “harshly” when fellow skaters fell, stumbled and avoided risk on the ice.

However, despite fans’ fury, Michelle took to Instagram to share her gratitude towards the voters and praised her partner for their time working together.

Taking to Instagram hours after her exit, Michelle wrote: “What a ride… I didn’t want it to end. Heartbroken.”

Michelle seemingly noticed the scoring disparity as she recognised the frustration from fans as she added: “Though hear me when I say, I am overwhelmed with the support on this platform & others, I hear the frustration.. trust me, I am sad too.

“But guys, as one door closes another must open coz it’s the only way! We get up dust ourselves off and fight for the next dream.”

She thanked the ITV show for having her as part of the line-up and also praised her partner Lukasz Rozycki before adding: “My journey was filled with joy, and laughter and many ‘f**ks’.”

Michelle then hinted she would be taking a few days off social media following the axe adding: “Over and out for a few days… me [love heart emoji].”

Her fans and friends immediately showered her with praise, with one pal Linda Nolan writing: “Absolutely robbed!!! So sad to see you go, but you should be so proud of yourself – we’re all so proud of you.”

While another said: “Should never have gone tonight! Onwards and upwards.”

A third added: “I think you were robbed you were so good this week not that you wasn’t last but I think you should of stayed in.”

Michelle may have had an early exit but the judges also praised her confidence as she went into week two.

Sadly she won’t be back on the ice for a third week in a row, but the remaining celebrities will return to skate around the rink to try and land a spot in the final.
