The One Show’s Alex Jones has made a brutal dig towards her co-star Jermaine Jenas.
The Welsh host made the cheeky dig at the former pro footballer on Monday night’s show (January 30).
Jermaine introduced the show by saying: “Tonight, football fans around the country nervously wait to find out who their team will face in the fifth round of the FA cup.
“But you do not have to wait for much longer because Mark Chapman is here to host the draw.”
Alex then pointed to the FA Cup trophy and said: “Apparently if I go near it, the alarm will go off.

“Is this the closest you’ve ever got to it?” she then quipped.
Jermaine then shook his head in dismay and said “Move on, move on”.
This comes over a week after Alex made another savage joke at Jermaine.
On Wednesday’s show (January 18), Alex made the cheeky quip about her fellow presenter live on air.
The hosts were talking about how to save money during the current cost of living crisis.

Jermaine said: “Wow, £700, nice saving. I feel Chris’s pain though with the four kids, they like to hit the pocket.”
To which Alex responded: “Well, you brought it all on yourself, JJ. What can I say?”
Presenter Jermaine then blushed as they moved on to the next section of the show.
The former pro footballer and his wife Ellie share three children together, Geneva, nine, Olivia, five, and Jacob, one.

He also has a 15-year-old daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship.
In October 2021, Jermained announce the arrival of his newborn son, Jacob, on Instagram.
He shared a sweet snap of his new baby and wrote: “Jacob Anthony Jenas, 08.10.21 You have no idea how loved you are! Good luck with three big sisters though!!”
