EastEnders fans 'expose' Walford's next serial killer as 'creepy' new love interest

EastEnders fans have theorised that newcomer Reiss Colwell could become the next serial killer on Albert Square.

The seemingly sweet character made his first appearance in Walford when he attended his great-aunt Dot Cotton’s funeral back in December, immediately hitting it off with fan favourite Sonia Fowler.

Despite just a few appearances over the Christmas period, Reiss has now returned to Albert Square and it seems he could be there for good as he helps Sonia hunt for a lodger.

However, many fans believe there is more to Reiss than meets the eye and have speculated that there is every possibility he could go on a violent rampage over the next few months.

Taking to social media with their theories, one fan wrote: “I find Reiss quite endearing to be honest. It’s nice to have an actual character rather than a generic cut-out the likes of which we have had too many of in recent years. Now I’ve said that watch him turn out to be the next neighbourhood psycho!”

“I really cant make my mind up about him. Is he a serial killer? Does he want Sonias money? Is he secretly married? Is he just an ordinary guy?” questioned another viewer.

A third simply stated: “He’s definitely a serial killer?” as someone else agreed: “I’m just saying… Never trust a tuba player.”

While another person linked the newcomer to Coronation Street villain John Stape who murdered two people during his time on the Cobbles.

“Reiss is giving me Corrie John Stape vibes,” they said.

Another person added: “I thought he was a bit creepy and predatory coming onto someone who was grieving but he does have good chemistry with Sonia.”

While another wrote: “You know the old saying about the quiet ones are the worst. Well that’s what I think too.”

The speculation of a new serial killer comes less than one year after Gray Atkins was sent to prison following his reign of terror on the square.

Within two years, the evil killer claimed the lives of Tina Carter, Chantelle Atkins and Kush Kazemi before he was finally arrested for his crimes.
