Emmerdale viewers all say same thing about Paddy as he enjoys steamy reunion with Mandy

Emmerdale viewers have been left feeling concerned for Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) after he ended up reuniting with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) in steamy ITV scenes.

Paddy admitted to ex Mandy that he’s been feeling lost since his split from ex Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) during Wednesday’s (February 8) episode.

Mandy admits she knows how hard it can be to move forward when you still love someone.

Paddy was left quietly struck by Mandy’s observation and sensed that perhaps she knows how he feels right now.

Back at the Woolpack, as they opened a bottle of wine, Paddy and Mandy both found themselves coyly avoiding making eye contact.

As the afternoon went on, Paddy and Mandy reminisced through music and dissolved into helpless, cathartic, alcohol-fuelled laughter.

As Mandy wrestled with her conscience, she locked eyes with a drunk Paddy before jumping on him and planting a kiss on his lips.

However, viewers at home were distracted by Paddy’s behaviour, with some convinced he’s suffering from depression.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “I have a horrible feeling that Paddy will have a MH breakdown.”

Another added: “#Emmerdale looking like Paddy is showing sign’s of depression. Instead of keeping his friends at arm length he should let them help him.”

A third person posted: “Paddy needs councilling with his depression.”

While a fourth social media user said: “I think Paddy could have depression.”

In recent scenes, Paddy was left heartbroken as his ex Chas could be seen flirting with Kev the Drayman.

Chas insisted it was just a bit of “banter” between friends but a fuming Paddy said: “It was humiliating If you have no respect for me at least have some for yourself.”

Later on, Chas asked Paddy to look after their daughter Eve because she had to go away for work and might need to stay the night.

Paddy was still not happy about Chas flirting as he told her: “All I’m asking is you don’t flirt with every single man you come across right in front of my face.”

Chas lashed out at Paddy and told him that he doesn’t have the right to tell her how to behave and he doesn’t get to control her.

Mandy overheard the pair arguing and when she saw him later sitting in his car alone she went over and offered him a shoulder to cry on.

He told her he was trying to get a bit of peace and quiet and didn’t want to speak to anyone. Mandy Invited him over to hers and even tried to tempt him with some custard creams, but he insisted he was fine.

Fans will have to wait if Mandy and Paddy will get back together or was it just an afternoon fumble.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
