Katie Price has been mum-shamed on Instagram after followers expressed their shock at a picture of her eight-year-old daughter Bunny wearing huge false eyelashes.
Plenty of Katie’s fans also defended the former glamour model, though, over the photograph that shows a beaming Bunny’s face plastered with make-up and was taken at her aunt Sophie’s wedding last June.
Bunny, whose father is Katie’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler, was a flower girl at the ceremony and had the eyelashes applied by a professional makeup artist.

Her proud mum, who decided to get a Botox top-up on Wednesday (February 8) after her latest bankruptcy hearing was postponed, posted the image on Thursday (February 9) with the following caption: “My Bunny Bops the day of my sister’s wedding and @fern_makeup [love heart emojis].”
The star’s post quickly divided fans in the comments, with one exclaiming: “OMG! She’s a child. Why have you allowed all that make-up. That’s far too much for such a young child.”
Another added: “Eight is way too young. For false lashes, glue on a child’s eyes that age is not good at all”, while a third asked: “OMG, what are you doing to your poor little girl?”
And one of Katie’s followers asked the mum-of-five: “Do you really need to filter your own daughter? WTF?”
However, many loved the snap and defended Katie from critics, with one writing: “She’s literally been to a wedding and like any little girl maybe wanted all the make-up. God man. Perfect mam brigade strikes.”
“You’re all giving Katie the reaction she wants as she would say I looooove iiiit,” another mused.

One fan gushed: “Bet she loved getting dressed up for the day. Beautiful.”
Katie’s personal decision to allow her daughters to wear make-up from a young age for special occasions has divided fans for many years.
Last year, the OnlyFans content creator reportedly clashed with ex-husband Peter Andre when their daughter Princess Andre, 15, began experimenting with different looks with the help of cosmetic products.
Mysterious Girl singer Peter has always been quite vocal about not letting his young daughter “grow up too soon” and use make-up.
But Katie, 44, responded: “Every dad out there dreads the moment their daughters get to be teenagers.”
