Lorraine Kelly was absent from Friday’s instalment of her daytime programme and was replaced by a fan favourite ITV star.
Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh stepped in for the Scottish presenter, 63, to host the latest edition of her self-titled programme.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star regularly stands in for Lorraine during her Summer breaks and half terms, proving to be a big hit with viewers.

Before the show, GMB presenters Kate Garraway and Adil Ray went live to the Lorraine studio via a video link to find out what was coming up on the programme.
During the playful link, Ranvir joked that “daily humiliation for Kate” is their favourite past time while on air on ITV.
These links take place everyday and recently left Lorraine mortified when GMB host Ben Shephard brought up the X-rated texts her hubby apparently likes to send
The Tipping Point presenter said: “I am just reading a page in the Star. And I was just wondering whether Stevie has text you this morning? I know this is your first appearance… so maybe he has been unable to see you on air just yet.”
Lorraine asked: “Yes?” as Ben replied: “So has he? Has he text you anything on air this morning?”
Looking slightly awkward and sheepish, Lorraine replied: “Not quite. How? What? What’s happened?”
Ben who was addressing the article, said: “Well it would appear he is very generous with his affections while you are on air.”
She suddenly gasped and asked: “What’s the story here?” to which Ben replied: “Susanna, he likes to say how good Lorraine is looking in the morning. In an affectionate way.”
Red-faced Lorraine then replied: “It depends what I am wearing. It depends how much I am showing. Sometimes he does.”
The TV presenter’s admission left Susanna in shock, as Lorraine added: “Sometimes he does say “nice boobies.””
She then asked the GMB hosts: “How did you get hold of that? Where did that come from?
“Have I been talking too much again?”
Susanna gushed: “As we’re coming up to Valentine’s Day, how lovely. Your husband still texts you to say ‘Nice boobs’.”
Ben then quipped: “Next time Lorraine’s on her show and she looks down at her phone, it could be Steve sending a little message.”
