EastEnders fans believe Ryan wants to raise Lily’s baby after learning he can’t have children with his wife, Helen.
Earlier this week, Ryan returned to Walford after six years following the discovery that his 12-year-old daughter was pregnant.
During Wednesday’s episode of the BBC soap, Ryan opened up to his half-sister Whitney and revealed him and his wife were trying for a baby for years before they were told they couldn’t have children.

Later, Ryan attended Lily’s baby scan and told Stacey he was thinking of going for joint custody of their daughter, suggesting the youngster should move to Wakefield with him and Helen.
He then spoke to Whitney who was fuming that Ryan had mentioned custody after she brought him back to the square.
During their chat, Ryan said: “It’s funny isn’t it, people try for years and you throw two kids together…”
Whitney then questioned her brother’s motives, asking if the real reason he wanted Lily to move in with them is because he can’t have kids with Helen.
He assured it wasn’t to do with that, assuring Whitney that Lily is his priority and he can offer her more than Stacey.
But viewers weren’t convinced and were quick to theorize that Ryan and Helen will go to extreme lengths to keep Lily’s baby.
One user speculated: “I feel like he really doesn’t care about lily .. him and this Helen might have plans to steal the baby and do a runner #EastEnders.”
Referring to a baby kidnap storyline which occurred years ago between two former Albert Square residents, another wrote: “Oh damnnnnn Helen basically wants to keep Lily’s baby for her own. I predict this is gonna be like the Dawn Swann and May Wright all over again. #EastEnders.”
“Knew it! Ryan and Helen can’t have kids and they want Lilly’s baby #EastEnders,” added a third.
Someone else echoed: “Ryan’s after Lilly’s baby”.
