Jeremy Clarkson has cheekily hit out at his co-star James May after he mocked farm produce on Twitter.
The two TV stars, who go back years, are able to crack jacks at one another’s expense and are renowned for their on-screen banter.
So much so that 62-year-old Jeremy did not hold back when he called out his pal James online.

Taking to Twitter, James tweeted: “Is all that sourdough and spelt bo***x over yet? I fancy a piece of bread.”
No stranger to hitting his tongue, the former Top Gear presenter quipped back: “Oh do f**k off.”
It didn’t take long for plenty of Jeremy’s followers to take to the comment section to react to his response.
“Fight, fight, fight, fight,” proclaimed one social media user.
Jeremy responded: “James is not a man who understands this kind of thing. He likes Spam.”
To which another follower commented: “Bit harsh!”
Jeremy wrote back: “James is not across the problems of farming.”
“That’s not very nice, what’s up,” another social media user asked Jeremy.
“He called farming ‘big gardening’. He’s not a man we can trust on the subject,” Jeremy replied.
The TV presenter was recalling an interview James did last year, where he referred to farming as “big gardening.”
Speaking to Express, James was asked if he’d rather spend a day working at a car shop or Jeremy’s famous farm.
The TV star said he would choose the car shop as he “doesn’t know anything” about farming, branding it as “big gardening.”
He was also asked if he would ever be tempted to get into the farming business, to which he said: “Christ no.”
In recent Jeremy Clarkson news, the TV star has seemingly confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm will return for a third series – despite reports he’d been axed from Amazon Prime Video.
The documentary series premiered back in 2021 and follows 62-year-old Jeremy and his life on his farm in the Cotswolds.
However, following Jeremy’s controversial comments about Meghan Markle in a column for The Sun, there were calls for his show to be axed.
The former Top Gear host reportedly sparked the ire of Prime Video bosses after the controversial column, in which Jeremy suggested Meghan should be “paraded naked” through the streets and pelted with “excrement”.
It was initially reported in Variety that Amazon Prime Video would be axing Jeremy’s shows, though the streaming giant did not comment
