Love Island star Kaz Crossley has reportedly been detained in Dubai on suspicion of drug offences after a video emerged of her snorting white powder.
According to The Sun, the reality star was said to have been detained at Abu Dhabi airport while preparing to catch a connecting flight to Thailand.
The publication has claimed police refused to let the influencer phone her family following her arrest on Monday (February 14).

A source said: “She was looking forward to getting back to Thailand where she has been doing voluntary work and all of a sudden she is languishing in a Dubai jail.”
The source added: “She messaged one particular friend whose email she could remember and asked her to inform her family that she was OK but had been arrested for drugs offences. The arrest wasn’t because of anything she had on her.”
“As far as we know it is all down to that video,” they confirmed.
The video in question was reportedly taken during lockdown in November 2020 and showed the 28-year-old leaning over as she snorted lines of white power off a table.
Before her arrest, it is believed her name was flagged up as United Arab Emirates authorities were still probing the two-year-old video.
The source continued: “Everyone knows how strict they are about drugs over there. She must be terrified. She had only stopped off in Abu Dhabi to catch a connecting flight but her name has obviously raised a red flag.”
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are in contact with the local authorities following the arrest of a British national in the United Arab Emirates.”
Dubai is known for its strict rules when it comes to drugs, with the penalties for possession of drugs being severe.
It is understood Kaz, who shot to fame on the hit ITV2 dating show in 2018, could face jail time and a £5,000 fine if found guilty of taking or possessing drugs.
Daily Star has contacted a representative of Kaz for comment.
