Rebecca Ferguson and her husband Jonny Hughes have welcomed their first child together.
The 36 year old who appeared on ITV’s hit singing show the X Factor in 2010, shared an Instagram post on Friday (February 17) to announce the joyous news.
Posting an adorable snap of her baby’s hand in the black and white photo, Rebecca reminded fans that she can still keep a secret while informing them of when her baby was born.

Captioning the photo, she wrote: “Surprise! Turns out I can keep a secret. Born on Valentines Day.”
After seeing her heart-warming post, fans headed straight to the comment section to share their thoughts while congratulating her on her amazing news.
One follower wrote: “Awwww huge congratulations to you both, your little Valentine!”
Another said: “Congratulations! Impossible to tell – amazing secret baby.”
A third penned: “Wow lovely little secret, congrats honey.”
While a fourth fan added: “Omg absolutely amazing congrats to you all.”
The X Factor finalist and her husband Jonny have not yet announced the gender or name of their little one to fans.

The news comes after the happy couple recently tied the knot in December 2022 at Rebecca’s “dream wedding venue” in London’s upmarket Mayfair district, after dating for seven years.
Speaking candidly at the time, Rebecca said the “final puzzle piece” in her life is now in place following her beautiful ceremony at The Dorchester hotel.
She told OK!: “Years ago when I was starting out, I’d get the Megabus from Liverpool to London. It was cheap as chips. We used to drive past Park Lane.
“It was inspirational for me because I’d be looking at The Dorchester, thinking, ‘One day I’ll get to stay there.’ It was a dream come true for me to get married there.”
Rebecca’s two eldest children Lillie, 18 and Karl, 16, with whom she shares with ex Karl Dures was also in attendance at her wedding, as well as her eight-year-old daughter Arabella from a later relationship.
Rebecca also said her big day was a testament to how far she has come as she believes she’s put the “horrible stuff” behind her and fhas since found “peace and happiness”.
On the day of their wedding Jonny said his bride looked beautiful and said it was “really touching” to see Lillie with a tear in her eye.
Rebecca previously revealed that she was engaged to Jonny on New Year’s Day 2022.
