BBC Breakfast hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay shared a sweet message for former show host Dan Walker after his horror bike crash.
Former Strictly star Dan was rushed to hospital on Monday (February 20) after being hit by a car while cycling through London.
The Channel 5 presenter told fans he was “glad to be alive” after the frightening accident and shared snaps from the back of an ambulance which showed his face covered in blood.

Dan’s former BBC Breakfast co-host Sally and Jon looked rather concerned for Dan as they shared a snap of his injuries at the start of Tuesday’s show (February 21).
Sally affectionately branded the star “Our Dan” as she updated fans about the collision.
She said: “Here’s a familiar face everyone, Dan Walker, our Dan was injured after he was in a collision with a car while cycling yesterday.”
Sally reassured viewers that her pal Dan was doing okay and resting up at home, with Jon noting that Dan noted: “Sounds like he was out cold for 20 minutes or so.”
Sally replied: “Yeah, really scary,” before Jon wished his predecessor all the best in his recovery, saying “Get well soon Dan.”
Dan shared a trio of snaps with fans after the collision, telling fans: “Bit of an accident this morning. Glad to be alive after getting hit by a car on my bike.
“Face is a mess but I don’t think anything is broken. Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for sorting me out and the lovely copper at the scene.”

He signed off the post: “This is my smiling [laughing emoji] Thankful for our NHS [red heart emoji].”
Dan announced he was leaving BBC Breakfast in April 2022 following six years on the morning programme.
The former Football Focus presenter has moved to Channel 5 to present bulletin show 5 News.
