This Morning's Holly and Phil fume 'you're sick!' at bosses over 'horrible' skit

This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield kicked off Tuesday’s (February 21) show with a taste test for various pancakes.

The hosting duo had three plates of pancakes in front of them and they didn’t know the toppings placed on each – but they were all unusual, kicking it off with cheese and marmite.

Holly told Phil that she “doesn’t like not knowing what I’m eating”, adding: “Otherwise it’s like a Bushtucker Trial.”

Meanwhile, Phil said he’ll “eat anything”, and told Holly: “Sometimes it’s better if you don’t know.”

The pair were pleasantly surprised with the first pancake they moved onto the second, but with a mix of balsamic and strawberries the pair were not so keen.

The third pancake had Holly gagging as she said moments before putting it in her mouth that she “hopes this isn’t gravy”.

As Phil sniffed the snack he gave Holly a warning look as she placed it in her mouth, only to run to the back of the studio gagging while branding the snack “horrible”.

She walked back over to Phil and said: “What is that? That is horrible,” as she turned the tag around and shouted: “It is gravy! You’re sick! You’re sick, you’re sick!”

Phil added: “You filthy! What’s the matter with you!”

Taking to Twitter fans shared their own thoughts on the topping, with one person writing: “What’s wrong with gravy? A pancake is just a flat Yorkshire Pudding.”

While another said: “Holly is acting like she ate dog s**t.”

Holly had given her fans the heads up of what was coming up on the show before it all kicked off as she took to Instagram to share a snippet of her outfit of the day.

She wore a pair of fitted trousers and a black and white striped top with some stiletto heels as she said: “Happy Pancake Day!!!” to her fans.
