My 600lb Life has seen some incredible transformations over the years – and one of the most recent success stories is that of Wess Schulze, who originally tipped the scales at 705lbs.
Wess has totally transformed since his time on the show, originally sporting a horseshoe haircut with a long dark beard to match.
The TLC reality star headed to see Dr Younan Nowzaradan – AKA Dr Now – for help after struggling with his weight. He had originally turned to food for comfort after struggling with childhood sexual abuse, confirming on the show that a family member was “very sexually abusive”.

But now Wess is beginning to turn his life around, and has so far dropped an incredible 220lbs from his starting weight.
He’s also dropped five jean sizes, confirming the news on his social media.
He confirmed to fans: “OMG I AM FREAKING OUT. I just tried on a pair of jeans… 11 inches or roughly five sizes smaller than I used to wear! And they are about one size too big!”
Wess also delighted fans as he told them he recently completed his first ever one-hour workout at the gym.
He said: “I’m tired… BUT I DID IT! 220lbs down!”
In new snaps, Wess could be seen rocking a pair of chunky black spectacles and a beige knitted cap, having seemingly shorn his hair to a shorter length.
His beard had also got the chop, leaving just a hint of designer stubble in place of the long wispy facial hair.
Wess donned a simple grey t-shirt for his Instagram followers as he pulled a face for the camera, showing off his slimline face and chin.
The TLC star is now “single and ready to mingle”, and on the lookout for someone who can handle “this level of craziness” in a partner.
Fans have been reacting with nothing but support for the star, and rushed to his latest Instagram snaps to fawn over Wess’ new look.
