From Maura Higgins to Jess and Eve Gale, some of the former islanders are positively unrecognisable.
Shaughna Phillips
Shaughna Phillips was a fan-favourite after appearing on the sixth season of the show where she was unfortunately unlucky in love.
Since her appearance on the show she launched her own clothing line with In The Style and even made an appearance on Celebs Go Dating where she went out with Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and TOWIE’s Pete Wicks.
Shaughna has spoken openly about her cosmetic surgery, discussing boob lifts and having laughter lines filled.
She said to Glamour Magazine: “I’ve been having lips done for a few years now so that wasn’t Love Island orientated.
“I had my boobs uplifted – not implants, but had them shoved up – and that was due to the weight loss. My mum had better boobs than me and she’s had two kids! I had such big boobs before that it was literally like nothing.
“Then I suppose other than that I’ve had a few tweaks. I’ve had my laughter lines filled, but I feel that’s a bit of a compliment because it means you laugh a lot.”
Jess and Eve Gale
Jess and Eve were the first set of twins to ever appear on the show, creating a stir in the villa when they first arrived as the show mixed things up.
Jess and Eve were students in Manchester when making their appearance and working as VIP hostesses.
Eve had revealed in her Love Island interview that she used to speak to Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga after tagging him in a post on Instagram that he responded to.
Fans were shocked when a picture of the twins prior to their Love Island debut hit the internet with darker hair and a more natural look to their makeup.
Maura Higgins
Maura Higgins became a fan-favourite with her hilarious banter, the Irish beauty made it to the season final with partner Curtis Pritchard, with the relationship coming to an end after leaving the villa.
Maura has since appeared in Dancing on Ice and had her own clothing edit with boohoo while modelling her own campaign with Ann Summers.
Maura was modelling before appearing in Love Island and while fans have suspected she had work done on her boobs, bum and lips, it was only confirmed that she had received lip filler prior.
Maura’s mother said: “She’s 28 now. She has matured. She never got plastic surgery ever.
“The only thing she ever got done – and she never hid it, she had it up on her own instagram – was she got some lip filler. Because she had quite thin lips.”
Megan Barton-Hanson
Since appearing on the show, Megan Barton Hanson has built contracts with PrettyLittleThing and Avon, appeared in the 2019 run of Celebs Go Dating and made it to the Love Island rich list having been valued at more than £1m since.
Megan has made a point to speak out against online trolls and openly discussed her sexuality, revealing she is bisexual in 2019.
She previously discussed her regret for getting cosmetic surgery when she was just 17 due to bullying.
She said: “The surgery helped me diminish the obsessive nature of my insecurities, but while it made me feel happier when looking in the mirror, that’s just surface level.
“It didn’t help me to love myself, that came from growing up and having a strong circle of empowered women around me.”
Molly-Mae Hague
Molly-Mae is one of the biggest stars from the show, having established herself as a strong social media influencer after a career in her teenage years in beauty pageants.
At just 20 years old, Molly-Mae entered the villa in season five and quickly paired with Tommy Fury, with the pair remaining together ever since.
Soon after the show ended, Molly launched her own clothing collection with PrettyLittleThing, with many items selling out instantly.
She then became Creative Director for the fashion brand.
Molly-Mae has since opened up about her distaste for cosmetic treatments, speaking about getting her lips done at 17.
She has since has her filler removed, saying: “I remember staring at it and thinking, ‘I don’t know what I’ve done to my face.’”
Amy Hart
Amy Hart was known for quitting Love Island after her former partner Curtis Pritchard dumped her when six new women arrived at the villa.
While receiving therapy on the show, she decided it just wasn’t possible for her to continue with the show.
After leaving the show, Amy appeared on Loose Women and quit her job as an air stewardess.
Before appearing on the show, Amy had borrowed money from her grandparents for a boob job while also splashing out to get hair extension and a fill set of veneers.
She said to the Mirror: “I’d always wanted my boobs done. I grew up in the era of Katie Price. I hated how I looked in clothes.”
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
