Emile John has made a splash in Emmerdale since he joined the cast in January 2021.
The actor had several stage roles while he was still in college, but playing hunky vicar’s son Ethan Anderson in the ITV soap is his first major screen role.
He has amassed plenty of fans since he joined the show, and now has more than 5,000 followers on Instagram.

While Emmerdale viewers know all about Ethan’s life in the Dales, not too much is known about actor Emile when he is off screen.
Daily Star have take a peek behind the scenes.
Body transformation

Like so many people, Emile seized the opportunity to get in shape during lockdown.
After admitting that he had fallen off his “grind”, he wowed his fans by sharing before and after pics that displayed a jaw-dropping body transformation.
The snaps showed the actor clad in nothing but a pair of shorts and flaunted his killer abs and new muscled physique.
He wrote: “Sep 2020 – Feb 2021 Fell off my grind after Lockdown 1, but a few small wins later… Shouts to my sis @amiravictoriaa for her advice, check her if you want results. Anyway, I got a Zinger Burger to knock back, peace.”
Emile later said on ITV’s Lorraine that he had started working out with a friend.
“I just thought I’d focus on my fitness since there is nothing else to do, so why not get into shape,” he said.
“I really took it seriously and I started running and lifting more weights.”
Fans loved Emile’s buff new body.
One said in the comments section that he was “looking HOT and mighty fine”.
“Stop shaming me with my Dad-bod!” joked another.
Hidden talent

Emile’s fans said they had “goosebumps” after he revealed that he could sing as well as act.
The star showcased his gift in a video on Instagram and his followers were seriously impressed with his vocal talent.
The clip showed Emile serving up some amazing runs while apparently playing the piano, although his hands could not be seen as they were off camera.
“Wow!” one admirer posted, while another told the star: “That gave me goosebumps.”
Glam trips abroad

Emile sometimes gives his followers a little glimpse of his travels when he’s busy not on set.
One recent snap showed him wearing colourful tartan shorts and a shirt as he posed in front of a gorgeous infinity pool.
“Throwback Ghana21 More memories inbound,” he wrote.
Another shot showed him at a party by a pool, with colourful lights and palm trees adding to the fun feel.
“Where the vibes reside,” he captioned the image.
Eye-catching home
Emile doesn’t reveal too much of his home on social media but fans have had the odd look.
In the clip of him singing, the walls behind him were a shade of bright pink.
And during one TV appearance on Zoom, fans noticed that his walls were purple.
He also had a red shelf shaped like a lightning bolt that caught the eye.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
