Pregnant Laura Anderson breaks silence with emotional statement after Gary Lucy split

Former Celebs Go Dating star Laura Anderson has shared a statement on Instagram detailing her split with Gary Lucy.

The 33-year-old Love Island alum initially had “no intention to comment” but took to her Stories to explain the situation following news that has been “publicly spread by other parties.”

Laura and Gary also appeared to take aim at one another in cryptic Instagram posts, with Gary revealing that part of the reason the pair decided to split was down to location, with Laura reportedly wanting him to move from Essex to Scotland.

“I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary. However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no other choice,” Laura told her 1.5 million Instagram followers. “Gary and I are no longer together due to multiple reasons which will remain private.”

“Our plan was for me to move to Essex to start our family which I was more than happy to do. However, since the breakdown of our relationship I have remained at home in Scotland,” she added. “My priority is bringing my baby up in a calm and stable environment.”

Laura continued: “I never asked or expected Gary to move to Scotland. I fully support him living in Essex to be close to his four amazing children.”

This is Laura’s first child

“I am fully focused on having a healthy, happy pregnancy and remain excited to share this incredible journey with you all. Thank you so much for you support! Laura, Buddy & Bump,” she concluded.

Gary and Laura met while filming E4 dating series, Celebs Go Dating and went on to have a whirlwind romance which resulted in her first pregnancy.

However, things appeared to turn sour after their split, with Gary sharing a thinly-veiled dig at Laura onto his Stories, hitting out at people who “look for faults in others”.

The quote read: “People that spend time looking for faults in others, should spend time correcting their own,” and Gary added the caption: “Amen to that.”
