Lewis Capaldi has thanked fans for their support after he experienced twitching on stage at a live show.
The 26-year-old Scottish singer was performing a live show in Frankfurt when he stopped performing his hit song Someone You Loved because he appeared to start twitching.
Lewis has been diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome and a TikTok that has since gone viral showing the singer experiencing a tic attack while on stage.

As the star couldn’t get the words out, some of his loyal 15,000 or so fans watching jumped in to fill in the lyrics while the singer took a step back away from the mic.
The singer confessed that twitching happens in his shoulder when he gets nervous, tired or excited but confirmed that it’s not painful.
He said: “I’m absolutely fine. I’m tired – and I’m also very excited because this whole arena is singing my songs back to me.”
He thanked the people who jumped in with the words, even joking about it, saying: “Get a ticket if you haven’t … come to see me twitch, live and in person.”

Lewis later took to TikTok to address the video with a message for people in the comments who were concerned about him.
In the video, he said: “Hello, it’s Lewis here. This video here I’ve seen doing the rounds a little bit on TikTok and I see a lot of people in the comments concerned because I’m twitching quite a lot… and sort of looking a bit uncomfortable.
“I’ve got Tourette’s, so I’m just twitching quite a bit here. It’s not an issue in the slightest, I’m absolutely fine. It’s just this happens when I get like tired or nervous or excited or whatever, so it just gets more intense.”
He went public about his condition in an Instagram Live post last September because he said he “didn’t want people to think I was taking cocaine or something.”
He said the diagnosis earlier that year made “so much sense” to him because he could see his shoulder twitching during interviews in 2018.
