Stacey Solomon left begging Molly-Mae Hague for help after beauty blunder

Stacey Solomon was left begging Molly-Mae Hague for help after a recent makeover left her “looking like Miss Trunchball.”

According to the Loose Women star, she wanted to emulate fellow ‘mum-fluencer’ Molly-Mae’s hairstyle and try a slicked-back hun.

Stacey asked Molly for help following a beauty blunder

Unfortunately, Stacey struggled to pull off the look herself and shared a clip asking fans and the Love Island star for help.

In the video posted on Sunday (February 26) Stacey said: “I thought I’d scrape my hair back into a bun today because I keep seeing people doing it and it looks beautiful.

“I see Molly-Mae do it and she looks beautiful.

“I call it ‘newborn fresh’ scrape your hair back, chuck it in a bun and you look really pretty and natural and it pulls all your face back.”

Stacey tried a new style – but she feared she looked like ‘Miss Trunchbull’

Stacey then shared the results of her attempts at the hairstyle – while pulling goofy faces in the clip.

She went on: “Why when I do it do I look like Miss Trunchbull. Why, why? Why don’t I look newborn fresh like Molly? I look like I’m going to shove my newborn into the chokey!”

Stacey also wrote a caption over the top of her photos which read: “Can you send me a newborn slick back hair tutorial please @mollymae.

“Can someone please tell me why I can’t pull this off? Why do I look like I’m going to chuck Belle into the chokey?”

Miss Trunchbull was the infamous antagonist in the Roald Dahl classic Matilda.

The evil headteacher was originally played by Pam Ferris before Emma Thompson took over the role in the recent musical adaptation.

Stacey and Molly-Mae have recently both become mums with the PrettyLittleThing creative director welcoming daughter Bambi with boxing beau Tommy Fury.

While Stacey recently gave birth to her fifth child, Belle.

Fans soon rushed to share their thoughts on her glam but causal hairstyle – which the star uploaded to the next story on her Instagram.

One wrote: “It looks good! Pull down some strands by the ears and it’ll look even better.”

“You need to pull a little part in the front,’ a second fan suggested.

Another commented: “This did make me laugh Do the bun lower.”
