Dancing On Ice's Mollie Gallagher and Siva Kaneswaran axed in double elimination

Coronation Street beauty Mollie Gallagher and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran have become the latest stars to leave ITV’s Dancing On Ice.

The tense semi-final saw two couples dumped from the show on Sunday (March 5), with all five couples performing two show-stopping performances on the infamous rink.

It was Joey and Vanessa, Siva and Klabera, and Mollie Gallagher who went up against each other in the skate off, with only one couple making it through to next week.

After each of the three pairs performed a dance to a song of their choice, it was down to the judges to vote to save one of the couples.

Ashley Banjo saved Joey and Vanessa, while Oti Mabuse also opted for Joey and Vanessa.

Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean also opted to save the Only Way Is Essex star and his German professional skating partner.

This meant that it was Mollie and Siva who skated off the ice and headed back home, leaving three pairs to perform and compete next week.

This means that next week, Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer; Drag icon The Vivienne and Colin Grafton and Olympian Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart, will battle it out for the trophy.

All three couples will skate the iconic bolero dance, which was made famous by Olympic ice skating legends turned judges – Torvill and Dean.

Joey getting through to the final with Vanessa comes shortly after the pair choked back the tears after their personal dance routine to The Lighthouse Family’s hit track High.

The TOWIE hunk reflected on losing his mum at young age, with him also touching on Vanessa’s own personal loss, which saw her lose her dad last year.

This comes after last week’s show saw Hollyoaks’ Carley Stenson get axed from the show after a tense skate off against newly-booted-off Siva.

Breaking down in tears after narrowly missing out on a step closer to the final, the blonde beauty spoke of having had a “tough week”.

Dancing On Ice airs on ITV1 and ITVX every Sunday at 6:25pm.
