Dancing On Ice's The Vivienne falls on ice as she reveals 'knees hurt' after accident

Dancing On Ice’s The Vivienne suffered an awkward – and painful – blunder on the ice when she took a tumble mid-way through a solo performance.

The stunning Drag Race UK winner, whose real name is James Lee Williams, looked gorgeous in a skin-tight black mesh outfit on Sunday night (March 5).

With all eyes on the drag superstar because of the daring ensemble, eyes were firmly fixated again when she fell over on the ice and hurt her knees.

The solo performance, which saw The Vivienne fall over, saw the celebrities take to the ice in a group performance without their skating professionals by their sides.

The Vivienne looked great on Sunday night

As she skated around the edge of the rink, The Vivienne seemed to slip, with her landing on her knees and sliding for a short while.

Standing up straight away, the drag icon was ever the professional as she continued with her routine, fearlessly.

Chatting to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield after the fall, The Vivienne said: “My knees hurt a little bit but I’m fine. We’re dancing on ice so these things happen.”

It was then revealed that The Vivienne landed in fifth place after her solo performance, which was judged by the panel.

Taking to Twitter in the aftermath of The Vivienne’s fall, one fan penned: “So disappointed for The Vivienne as she’s the best skater both technically and quality wise and the only one to perform a strong and proper jump combination but unfortunately the fall meant she had to lose marks.”

She quickly recovered and continued her routine

Another then added: “At least the Vivienne got up and carried on that’s what matters. I hope she is ok as that fall looks nasty.”

With a third writing: “I feel very bad for the Vivienne I must admit, that wasn’t a nice fall.”

The Vivienne continued to perform throughout the show, with her performing to The Wizard Of Oz’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow for her personal skate.

Dancing On Ice airs on ITV1 and ITVX every Sunday at 6:25pm.
