And one of those was Harrison, a 32-year-old carpenter from Sydney.
However, during his appearance on the show, plenty of viewers were left rolling their eyes after he failed to make a good first impression.
In the show, Harrison admitted: “I think in this experiment I will polarise people.”
He added: “Some people love me and then some people don’t like me.
“That’s fine – not everyone has taste.”
He also revealed how he gets told by “a lot of girls” that people think he’s “hot.”
“It doesn’t hurt either I suppose,” he said with a smirk.
Taking to Twitter, plenty of viewers shared their thoughts with one raging: “Good luck to whoever is paired up with Harrison”
“Harrison might be easy on the eye, but he loves himself more than anyone else,” said someone else.
Another simply penned: “Harrison,” followed by three red flag emojis.
Echoing their thoughts, a fourth viewer proclaimed: “Harrison is a walking ick.”
However, Harrison then opened up about life as a single dad-of-one – leaving followers stunned by his admission.
“A lot of things in life I haven’t got right but I’m getting this one right.”
“Why is it so important,” he was then asked.
“It’s hard for me to talk about without getting emotional,” Harrison quipped before getting teary-eyed.
“He’s three, I couldn’t live without my son.”
Harrison went on: “I do believe in love at first sight – it happened to me.
“I fell in love with my ex from the moment I looked at her – we were together for a year and when we found out we were pregnant I decided to propose.”
Harrison explained: “I genuinely, genuinely loved her.
“The hardest part of that split for me was losing my son.”
Before taking a deep breath he added: “Now I see him every second weekend that was the worst things that’s ever happened to me in my life.”
Following his emotional admission, it seemed viewers had warmed to Harrison.
“Ok immediately thought Harrison was a complete tool. But he managed to change my mind during his segment.”
Someone else said: “Did Harrison just kinda redeem himself with the kid talk? It started out so douchey, but now I’m divided.”
In the show, Harrison was put together with Bronte who has said she wants an alpha-male who she can have stimulating convo’s with and spoil her rotten.
