Lisa Armstrong has blasted high end fashion designer Stella McCartney after the fashionista used horses in a dance routine during a recent fashion show.
The opinionated star, 46, took to instagram to blast Stella, 51, after several horses were dancing in a circle as models flaunted her latest styles on a makeshift runway on a dirt field.
Taking place inside a huge barn, the protected wild Camargue horses were seen circling a man in unison after undergoing lengthy training.

Lisa posted to her 50k fans questioning the training methods and whether they were fair to the horses.
She said: “Mixed reactions to Stella McCartney using horses on the catwalk today in her show.
“You’d think if anyone was going to get this right it would me McCartney. I’d love to know whether you could get horses to do this without empathy and huge patience…”
She also questioned the stress that the loud music would have on the horses, adding: “but I also often wonder about the music we inflict on our four legged friends.
“Mind you, that’s mild compared with what goes on in some of the leather industry.”
Stella has received pushback on social media for the stint, with Lisa also highlighting Stella’s response to the uproar.
“Following push back on SM, the house has now issued this statement: ‘Monsieur Pignon’s horses have been trained by him in a cruelty free way to acknowledge his body movements…without using physical touch or stimulation.
“At his estate, they live in paddocks with unlimited access to hay and water as well as socialisation and shelter’.”
The show took place at the riding school venue, L’École Militaire in France during Paris Fashion Week, and Stella – a prominent animal rights campaigner – brought in seven protected wild Camargue horses for the show.
Afterwards McCartney – daughter of Beatle Paul – had told the stunned fashion press on a crowded balcony: “Have you even seen a wild horse at a fashion show, or a whisperer?”
She claimed organisers had called her ‘crazy’ for attempting to get wild horses to a show.

McCartney said winter was a good time to highlight cruelty-free designs with the unique spectacle of wild animals living, breathing and playing together.
‘I really wanted to make a connection with our fellow creatures because there is so much leather and fur and feathers on the runway, especially in winter,’ she added.
