To celebrate women on International Women’s Day, Celia joined Lorraine on the sofa to speak about what Sarah is truly like and what can be expected of her.
As Celia, who is married to former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, appeared on the ITV show, she looked utterly glamorous.
The journalist wore a green patterned frock which plunged at the centre as she paired the look with an incredibly glamorous beauty regime.
Celia’s hair fell past her chest in bouncy curls while she finished her look with a swipe of red lippy.
Her time on the show saw Celia discuss the famous Duchess of York as she gushed over her for being “incredibly infectiously warm”.
Celia added: “She would be involved with everyone in the room, she would know all their stories and she would have told them everything about her own adventures.”
As Lorraine mentioned that Sarah has been very kind about Harry and Meghan, Celia added: “Yes, she said that when she went to America they particularly understood about Harry and Meghan because America welcomed her when her marriage ended.
“It’s famously the land of reinvention – and they loved her there.”
Celia had praised Fergie on her Instagram as her article was released in The Telegraph as she said: “When I sat down with Sarah, Duchess of York, I found a 63-year-old relishing her new career as a bestselling novelist, a doting mother and grandmother – and a great survivor.”
The journalist wed Piers Morgan in 2010 and have been together since, but she did reveal she took a “sabbatical” from her husband.
In a column she wrote last year, Celia declared there was nothing wrong with their marriage but said a “marriage sabbatical” is a rite of passage to ensure a happy home life in the US – so she wanted to give it a try.
She said: “I’ve just come to the end of a six-week marriage sabbatical – as in, six weeks away from my husband and marriage.
“It’s the longest we’ve spent apart since the start of the pandemic.”
The pair reunited after their sabbatical in August last year.
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV at 9am.
