Love Island has not been without its explosive moments – and many of those have actually taken place long after the contestants have left the villa.
Fans of the popular ITV2 reality dating show have followed all the drama on-screen as well as off, as a number of islanders have clashed since their Love Island stints.
From war of words on social media, to very public spats and awkward break-ups, there have been plenty of shocking feuds,

Here, Daily Star takes a look at some of the Love Island feuds that have occurred after the show ended.
Georgia Steel and Sam Bird
Georgia Steel and Sam Bird were loved up when they left the Love Island villa in 2018, but a feud began to emerge after Sam reportedly found texts from Georgia’s ex-boyfriend on her phone.
Sam told The Sun: “I looked at her phone and found messages she sent to her mates and one of them had a selfie of her in bed with her ex and she put the word ‘oops’ and joked about it and I thought that’s not right.”
The couple, who were together for three months, were spotted at ITV’s Palooza event together but fans were left shocked when Sam announced their split the morning after.
He tweeted: “I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I can’t bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best.”
Speaking about the cheating claims, a source told The Sun that Georgia explained nothing had happened between her ex-partner, saying: “The relationship ended after Georgia was accused of being unfaithful, after she met up with her ex.
“But Georgia insists she hasn’t been disloyal at all and has told Sam that nothing actually happened. She did meet up with her ex because she still had loads of his stuff and wanted to give it back,” the insider added.
“They ended up having a bit of a heart to heart, with Georgia admitting things weren’t going very well with Sam and she ended up staying the night – but in the spare bedroom.
“Sam was furious and really shocked when he found out and decided to end it all. Georgia is devastated as she really loved him and wishes him nothing but the best.”
Following their split, the former couple had awkward joint appearance together at ATIK in Gloucester just weeks later.
A source told OK! Online: “Their appearances were about 10 minutes apart. When Georgia came in, Sam went into the cheesy room upstairs but still stayed in the club. Neither of them spoke.”
Yewande Biala and Lucie Donlan
After the Love Island 2019 contestants left the villa, a feud came to light between Yewande Biala and Lucie Donlan.
Heat Magazine reported that Lucie claimed Yewande had “bullied her” in a series of old Instagram comments.
However, Yewande soon responded, saying: “You refused to call me by my name because it was too ‘hard to pronounce’ now you wanna say I bullied you! Bullied.”
Yewande then released a lengthy Instagram statement, claiming that Lucie had “stripped her of her identity” by asking to call her by another name in the villa, which she described as a case of “racialised renaming.”
Their fellow islander Amy Hart showed her support for Yewande as she took to social media, saying: “We haven’t spoken about it publicly because it was Yewande’s story to tell. I remember dates, times, locations of every conversation in that villa. There’s so much you don’t see.”
Addressing the race row, Lucie later told Mail Online: “I’ve been sent death threats which are incredibly scary as you can imagine.
“I said on the show I had trouble pronouncing Yewande’s name, it’s just what I’m like. I asked if I could use a shortened, abbreviated version of her name instead as a term of endearment. There’s nothing sinister to it.
“I regret how just a few old comments sent 18 months ago has snowballed like this and got out of hand, and drummed up some needless negativity.”
Jacques O’Neill, Remi Lambert and Luca Bish
Remi Lambert hit out at Luca Bish and Jacques O’Neill in an Instagram post, after he accused the two islanders of “bullying,” him on the show and away from the villa.
Luca and Jacques slammed Remi’s rapping skills during an Instagram Live, where Jacques could be seen rolling his eyes and saying: “It’s really really good, you should turn pro.”
Jacques then added: “Pro? A pro rapper? He ain’t got… What’s he gonna do? Work in Harrods next year?”
Addressing the video in an Instagram statement, Remi said: “Everyone lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there.
“Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clearly signs of bullying.”
Remi also thanked fans for their support following Jacque’s and Luca’s shared Instagram video, saying: “Thankful for all of the support I’m getting.
“Letting yous know that I’m getting better each day. The negativity won’t stop me. Life’s too short to not do things you love.”
Jacques later apologised if his actions had caused any one offence and said he was “taking responsibility for his actions,” saying: “I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone.”
He also added that he was entering therapy, adding: “There is work that needs to be done on myself.”
Jon Clark and Chloe Crowhurst
One of the most unusual feuds occurred between two contestants who did not even appear on the same Love Island series together.
Jon Clark appeared on Love Island series one, as well as starring in The Only Way Is Essex, while Chloe Crowhurst appeared on series three of Love Island.
However before Chloe’s villa stint, she was reported to have been dating Jon.
She was accused of appearing on Love Island while dating Jon, but Chloe tweeted that she was going on the show as Jon had told her he was “cheating on me with 15 other girls”.

The Sun reported that her tweet read: “I went to Love Island as he told me he was cheating on me with 15 other girls…plus there’s a lot more to the story which no one knows…yet.”
One year later, Jon is reported to have called Chloe a “liar” and that her stint on the show was a “publicity stint,” according to Grazia Magazine.
Despite the feud, the pair were seen sharing a kiss at a nightclub in 2017, as they appeared to put differences aside during their reunion.
They also rekindled their romance briefly, before splitting up once more.
A source told The Sun Online: “At first, Jon and Chloe were totally back on – he went on holiday with her family and everything.
“But then things just started to fizzle out again. They’re really on and off, as everyone knows, and he had to spend time with Lauren for filming and that was tough on Chloe.
“But he and Chloe are still talking and they’re still friends. It’s over, though.”
Adam Collard, Paige Thorne and Jacques O’Neill
Paige Thorne was originally coupled up with Jacques O’Neill on the 2022 series of Love Island, but when Jacques was dumped from the villa, Paige coupled up with Adam Collard.
Jacques said he would wait for Paige outside the villa, but the paramedic is happily coupled with Adam after leaving the series.
Adam and Jacques subsequently unfollowed each other on social media, with a feud seeming to emerge between the two.
During an Instagram live, Jacques appeared to make a dig at Adam’s relationship.
His tone appeared sarcastic as Jacques said: “Nah they seem like they get on really really well, they seem very happy together,” before adding: “Yeah well her mum seems really fond of Adam so you know. I’m sure the Sunday dinner would go really well.”
However, Adam responded to a clip of the video on Twitter, saying: “Humble in defeat our kid, chin up x”
Davide Sanclimenti and George Tasker
Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti sparked rumours of a feud with Casa Amor bombshell George Tasker after the show ended, when Davide unfollowed George on social media.
George and Ekin-Su shared a bed in Casa Amor and had got close, with George heard saying during an Instagram Live with other dumped islanders: “Her hand was in a place it shouldn’t have been, my hand was in a place it shouldn’t have been.”
He continued: “Not for that long, but the line was crossed, that’s all I’m saying. Look, we’re friends, but I didn’t realise that that’s what friends do, so you know?”
However, Ekin-Su insisted that nothing happened between her and George, telling Capital Breakfast: “It was hot in there, obviously we’re both attractive people and we’re in the same bed together. Nothing happened.”
Following the comments, Davide also unfollowed George Tasker on social media.
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
