Lorraine Kelly issues 'warning' for Prince Harry & Meghan who 'keep discussing royals'

Lorraine Kelly appeared to warn Prince Harry and Meghan Markle against speaking out against the royals too much.

The beloved 63-year-old broadcaster discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Thursday’s (March 9) show with journalist Lewis Goodall and royal expert Roya Nikkhah – Royal Editor at The Sunday Times.

They were talking about whether or not Lilibet and Archie should have royal titles following news that Lilibet was christened on Friday (March 3).

The announcement also confirmed Lilibet will be referred to as a princess and that Harry and Meghan will use royal titles for their children.

Roya suggested Harry felt “tortured” by the royal family and that he could drop all royal titles, making him Harry Windsor.

But Lorraine admitted that although it would be “very powerful”, it wouldn’t work as being part of the royal family is “currency” for Harry and Meghan.

She said: “It’s very powerful, but having said that, being part of the royal family is their currency, isn’t it? It’s what they do. It’s what the books are about.”

Lorraine proceded to suggest that Harry and Meghan can’t keep speaking out against the royal family in books and Netflix shows forever.

She told Lewis: “That’s the thing. It will be so interesting, won’t it Lewis, to see what they do next, because they can’t keep on singing the same song.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their daughter Princess Lilibet Diana was christened at their California home.
