Bradley Walsh takes subtle swipe at Love Island stars days away from ITV final

The Chase host Bradley Walsh took a brutal dig at the five remaining Love Island couples just days away from the ITV2 final.

During Thursday’s visit to the primetime show (March 9), the former Coronation Street star welcomed four new quizzers onto the programme looking to put their general knowledge to the test.

As viewers tuned in for the afternoon quiz show, the host welcomed Neil, Bev, Bertie and Linda onto the weekday show where they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

And it’s fair to say the show started off with a bang when Neil stepped up to the podium to show off his impressive knowledge in the intense cash builder round.

After raking in an impressive £6,000, Bradders asked which Chaser he would like to take on in the face-to-face quiz as he introduced the line-up of Chasers on the show.

He teased: “Who will you be taking on today? Will it be the Dark Destroyer [bare in mind] I’ve seen more hair on the chest of a Love Island contestant.”

After the cheeky comment, the studio erupted into laughter as the TV presenter patted himself on the back for the “very good” joke.

He went on to introduce Mark Labbett, saying: “Or could it be The Beast? Here’s my ITV spin-off for this show, it would be called Extra Portions.”

This week, the quartet went on to battle against Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty but the gruelling quizzer struggled to beat the lightening quick team as they successfully took home £19,000.
