Joey Essex is convinced his late mum has been watching him skate on Dancing on Ice.
The reality hunk, 32, felt Tina’s spirit on the set of the ITV1 contest last weekend.
He told the Daily Star: “My mum passed me a silk scarf when I was younger and I had a flashback of that hanging in my old house that I lived in. And my nan brought that to the studio.

“I didn’t even know she brought that with her. She had it in her pocket when she was sitting in the audience.
“I feel like my mum was definitely looking down on me. I believe she was.
“I do have them sort of feels sometimes. I’m not superstitious, but I do believe that my mum is still here looking over me.”
Tina died from suicide in 2001 after battling depression.
Joey, who was 10 at the time, is still grieving her death to this day.
The brave lad dedicated a performance to her on last Sunday’s show.
He said: “When I was asked to do a personal skate, the first person that came to my mind was my mum. So I did that. It was extremely difficult. I was flooded with emotions before, having to do something like that live on television.
“It’s still very painful, it’s very raw and I don’t think I’ll fully ever properly get over that situation.
“I feel like she would be very proud. She would have loved to have been there in the audience.”
Joey is set to battle for the Dancing on Ice trophy in the final against drag queen The Vivienne, 30, and Olympian Nile Wilson, 27.
Dancing on Ice: The Final airs Sunday, March 12 at 6.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
