Kim Kardashian and her clan seem to have been axed from this year’s guest list for the glamorous Met Gala as Vogue editor Anna Wintour cracks down on who can attend.
Last year reality TV star Kim, 42, turned up in movie star Marilyn Monroe’s iconic gold dress, but it seems there’s no place for her at this year’s shindig.
It has been reported that Kim and sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie – all of whom were invited along last year – will be among those to miss out this time around in May.

Speaking to Page Six, a Vogue insider said Anna had been “cracking down on the guests at the annual fashion fete and no Kardashians will be invited.

However, a source close to the Kardashians and their promotional advisers later claimed to the publication that this was not the case.
Kim stunned onlookers at last year’s gala when she turned up in Marilyn’s famous dress alongside her then-beau, Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson, complete with bleached hair and diamond earrings.

The appearance last year was the first time her sisters Kourtney and Khloe had attended the bash, but Khloe has claimed that she had other opportunities to walk the red carpet.
On The Kardashians last year, Khloe said she had been invited “in the past,” but insisted it was her choice not to go, saying: “I’m not big on red carpets. I think I’ve made that very clear.”
