Lindsay Lohan has announced that she is pregnant and said she is “blessed and excited” for motherhood.
The Hollywood actress, known for her roles in Mean Girls and The Parent Trap, has left fans gushing after she took to Instagram to share the news.
She posted on the social media platform on 14 March and shared the happy news with her 12.4 million followers.

Lohan wrote: “We are blessed and excited!”
She added a praying emoji, a white heart, a baby and a baby’s bottle to the end of her message.
Fans flocked to the comment section to congratulate the Hollywood star on her pregnancy.
One wrote: “This is wonderful news!”
Another typed: “My queen, yesss.”
A third added: “Oh my, congratulations,” with a line of pink heart emojis.
In the picture Lindsay shared was a cute white baby’s onesie placed on a white background with the words “coming soon” written over the top.

Fans clearly cannot wait to welcome the child after Lindsay and her husband Bader married last year.
On 2 July 2022 it was confirmed by a rep that Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas were married after she labelled him her ‘husband’ in a birthday post on Instagram.
It was reported that Lindsay and Bader had married a few months prior back in April that year.
After her surprise wedding, Lohan spoke to Good Morning America about married life and called Bader “amazing”.
She said: “I’m really lucky. I found my partner and he’s an amazing man and we’re a great team.”
“He’s the best, I really – I love him so much!”

The actress has discussed her husband in many interviews and it is clear that the couple are deeply in love.
Lohan also spoke about her partner in Cosmopolitan’s The Work Issue and gushed over her spouse’s good nature.
She admitted that he is “an amazing person” who is “very calm” and “just the best”.
Lindsay also spoke about the support network around her, which consists of “a small group of friends who are just really good people”.
She continued: “That’s the only support that I really need: “friends, family and loved ones.”
