Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal has shocked fans after they found out he starred in an episode of cult classic TV show, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Pedro, who’s well known for his roles in Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and more recently The Last of Us, sent fans into a frenzy as they discovered the episode from season four, where he plays a character called Eddie.
In the episode, Buffy, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, attends university and is moved to a new dorm room, where she meets Riley and Eddie.

The next day, Eddie can’t be found and it’s later revealed that he was transformed into a vampire.
Due to his new “after-life” Buffy is forced to stake Eddie through the heart, turning him to dust.
Pedro’s short appearance in the show saw him credited as Pedro Balmaceda in the 1999 episode.
One fan took to Twitter to share that they had spotted Pedro, writing: “Just minding my business watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer when 22-year-old Pedro Pascal pops right outta nowhere.”
“I have arrived at the Pedro Pascal episode in the Buffy rewatch and he is just so adorable,” another excitedly wrote, while a fourth added: “Wait what Pedro Pascal was in Buffy season 4???”

Another fan suggested that the old episode wouldn’t have seen Pedro become as popular as he is now, claiming that his acting was “not very good”.
“Re-watching the Buffy ep in which Pedro Pascal guest-stars (S04E01),” they wrote. “At this tender age (24), he is not very good! The nascent internet would not have zaddified him back then.”
“I was today years old when I realised Pedro Pascal was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” another typed.
Meanwhile, Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, referenced the episode – and Pedro’s newly hyped-up popularity – when she shared her own screengrab, writing: “When Mother met Father.”
Pedro played Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones alongside current The Last of Us co-star Bella Ramsey, who played Lyanna Mormont.
The duo now star in the HBO video-game adaptation which follows their characters Joel and Ellie navigating a post-apocalyptic world with deadly creatures infected with a mysterious condition.
