A body language expert thinks Love Island finalists Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad could be set for “lucrative deals” and “huge amounts of media attention” following their villa exits.
The couple were placed fourth in the final, with airport security officer Shaq telling host Maya Jama that he felt like he’d “already won” after falling in love with biomedical student Tanya.
However their time in the villa was not without its ups and downs, as their relationship was tested by Casa Amor and a shock recoupling between Tanya and bombshell Martin Akinola – before Tanya chose to re-partner with Shaq.

Despite losing out to Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan during the final and their turbulent time in the villa, body language expert Darren Stanton has now predicted that Tanya and Shaq could “take advantage” of any deals that come their way – but that their love for one another will be at the forefront of everything they do.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Darren told Daily Star: “Despite not winning Love Island, I still maintain my position that Shaq and Tanya have the deepest connection out of all the finalists.
“For me, they showed a much deeper level of trust and rapport from a psychological perspective. They went through many trials and tribulations during their time in the villa, however Shaq has clearly fallen for Tanya. I definitely think he entered the show to find love, rather than it being about money or fame.”
He continued: “While I do think the couple will take advantage of any lucrative deals that come their way, their connection and love will be at the forefront throughout. I can also imagine they will be the type of couple to gain huge amounts of media attention, especially after their turbulent time in the villa.”
Speaking about their future together, Darren is convinced the public will see lots more of the couple, as he spoke about their “deep connection” and the “longevity” of their relationship.
“I do believe Shaq and Tanya will remain as a strong couple,” said Darren.
“However, it’s difficult to determine whether there will be huge longevity between the two, despite their deep connection.
“My advice is watch this space. I’m quite sure we’re going to see a lot more of the couple in the weeks to come.”
