ITV Emmerdale beauty 'wants divorce' from husband 'who left her for co-star'

Actress Amy Nuttall has reportedly stated that she wants to divorce her husband Andrew Buchan after he allegedly left her for his co-star.

The Emmerdale beauty was said to have been left devastated after Broadchurch star Andrew reportedly left Amy days before Christmas for his Better co-star Leila Farzad.

Amy and Andrew have been married since 2012 and share two children together.

The entanglement has reportedly left Amy “crushed” and “crying almost every day”.

Downton Abbey star Amy, 40, was left heartbroken after Andrew, 44, quickly moved on with Leila, also 40.

However, despite all the upset, according to reports, Andrew and his new lover have now ‘split’.

Amy also now wants to “take back control” and divorce him, sources have claimed.

They told The Sun: “The shock twist is that it sounds as though after all the hurt and heartache, Andrew and Leila have actually split.

“However, that hasn’t done much to change Amy’s mind.”

They added: “She’s told him she wants a divorce anyway. She’s been publicly humiliated and the pain has been unbearable.”

Daily Star have contacted their representatives for comment.

A month ago, Amy allegedly wasn’t willing to comment on the relationship rumours, stating: “I can’t say anything”.

Though a close source said the actress was left in pieces as she tried to rebuild her life.

The insider revealed: “It’s been very hard for Amy. She’s been crying virtually every day since it happened and she’s struggling to cope with things. She can’t even bring herself to talk about it as she’s still trying to make sense of it all.”

A close pal told MailOnline: “Amy and the kids have been hit very hard by this, as you can imagine. They are all crushed. One minute they were living an idyllic family life in a beautiful house and the next, Andrew walks out on them.”

Andrew played Col McHugh in the new police drama titled Better, while Leila portrayed DI Lou Slack.

This BBC show launched on February 13, with all five episodes being put on iPlayer on the same day.
