Rochelle Humes rose to fame as a member of British girl band, The Saturdays, alongside Loose Women panellist Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White.
Since the band went on hiatus in 2014, Rochelle has made a name for herself in the TV world, presenting shows like This Morning and Ninja Warrior UK.
Rochelle, who’s married to former JLS star and radio DJ Marvin Humes whom she shares two children with, lives a sweet life in her London home, but in a bizarre twist, she was reunited with her long-lost sisters after spending 23 years apart.

She has two sisters, Sophie and Lilli and a brother, Jake, who are her dad Mark Piper’s kids. Mark abandoned Rochelle and her mum, Roz Wiseman, when she was just three years old.
‘Weird’ to be apart
Rochelle had previously admitting to “knowing of” her sisters and had only met them as a child, but revealed it ended up being “complicated and messy” due to her estranged dad playing a huge part in her sibling’s lives and not hers.
Her sister Sophie, who went on to star in Love Island’s 2020 Winter series told the Mail that it felt “weird” not knowing about her older sister in the limelight.
“There was a period where we weren’t in contact,” she said. “It was weird growing up not knowing Rochelle but since we have spoken we speak every day so it is nice all of us being in each other’s lives now.
“My middle sister Lili went to school with Kem so that’s how we know him. Obviously he was at the same school as me. It’s funny how it’s all linked together,” Sophie added.
‘Omg, there’s more of you!’
Rochelle shared the story of how she met influencer Lilli and later Sophie in a bizarre twist after chatting to former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay.
Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she said: “I’ve never told anyone this before, but two years ago, I was at our management’s Christmas party and Love Island’s Kem was there.
“He was chatting away and said, ‘I got to talk to you… as soon as I became a celeb, I promised my friend Lili that I would talk to you as she’s your sister on your dad’s side.’
“I knew of her and met up with her when I was five, but it was so complicated as they were a lot younger and my dad wasn’t involved. She WhatsApped me and I didn’t reply till the morning,” the Saturday’s star candidly admitted.
Rochelle continued: “We planned to go out for dinner with my other sister and brother and I made Marvin come with me because I was so scared. They all have each other and I am the weird older sister they feel they know because they’ve seen me on TV.”
“We are literally the same people, Marvin was like, ‘OMG, there’s more of you.’
“We’ve spoken every day since – Jeremy Kyle style. It’s like we’ve known each other all our lives.”
Love Island stint
As Sophie headed to South African for her Love Island stint, she was massively supported be her new-found sister Rochelle who shared a sweet post after it was announced she’d be heading into the villa.
“Good luck baby sis. Bring us back a keeper,” she wrote in the comments of Sophie’s announcement Instagram post.
Husband Marvin then wrote: “Is this how far @rochellehumes will go to make me watch Love Island?! Good luck Soph.”
An insider told The Sun that they chose Sophie for the cast of the show with her famous sister in mind before adding that she was “the perfect islander.”
At the time, the insider said: “They’re hoping to do the same with Rochelle and her youngest sister, who’s the spitting image of her. Soph is the perfect Islander – she’s incredibly beautiful and loves meeting new people after already doing a season in Ibiza.”
Sophie shared advice from big sister Rochelle, who told her to “just deal with it, don’t take negative comments too seriously” and offered unconditional help and support.
